Should young boys be allowed to read Maxim, and other mens magazine at school or at all?

I'm not sure the photos and articles in Maxim, and other mens magazine do not sound very appropriate for younger audience to read since they might talk about sex, drugs, alcohol, dating advice, and scantily clad women. Mens magazines do not seem like very appropriate reading material at schools since some people might feel uncomfortable when the boy sitting next to them is reading a magazine with an attractive women wearing a bikini on the cover.

I don't have a problem with mens magazine I just feel it is PG-16 since the women wearing thongs and sexy under wears.

I don't even think adult men should read those magazines. It's immature.

From what I know, Mens magazines are mostly picture books full of pictures of Girls in bikinis or not very much clothing

There are also a few gaming, and gadgets articles. Mens Magazine are basicly the offline version of IGN which has a babes, movies, gear, and gaming section.

Maxim, Fhm, etc are similar to Cosmopoliton, but for men.

I never read Mens Magazines, but my best guest are most men who buy these types of magazines buy them for the pictures of Megan Fox and other attractive women, and possibly dating advice on attracting attractive women.

Correction: Fake attractive women. Men who find photoshopped pictures attractive are pathetic and need a reality check.

Hmm... I'm going to assume a lot of women are going to say that these magazines should not exist. Keep in mind that there are also magazines like that for women. And besides... well I don't fell comfortable explaining other reasons... Anyways, it's for pleasure and entertainment, which men enjoy. Anyways, age limits should be there, but sometimes it seems like the kids don't care, which is practically 50%+ of the time. They find their way on the internet anyways. And Maxim doesn't have nudity like Playboy or other things like that, so it should be more available, like 13+.

You'll find far fewer magazines with the same type of stuff in aimed at women. Porn, even soft core is mostly aimed at men.

People can get 'pleasure' and 'entertainment' without resorting to fake people and objectification of the other sex (or same sex in case of gays).

Maybe it's more directed towards men because men are more open with it? And they aren't really fake, they are real people, but picture. Besides, what if you, yourself, can't get a girl? I'm sure you'll feel "left out" of the "fun".
