PS5 Shut off or rest mode?

As spotted by IGN, Cory Gasaway, Sony Interactive Entertainment's vice president of game, product, and player experiences, told Game File in an interview that players are at an even split when it comes to shutting the PlayStation 5 off or putting it into rest mode.

Which mode do you use?

I always shut it off. I know it doesn't actually use that much electricity in rest mode but it feels like a waste

I rest mode it for the day and shut it.down after my last gaming session of the night.

I shut it down after I'm done

I put it in rest mode so I can charge my controller at the same time.

Rest mode seems to make my PS5 have errors/issues. So I just shut it down and use my phone charger for my controllers.

I go for shut down, because there are some days where I'm way too busy at work, come home, have dinner, shower, then go bed. haha

I like to shut off my gaming system, but I do have a bad habit of leaving it on rest mode if I fall asleep watching Netflix.
