Silent Hills could be episodic

Developed by Kojima Productions, studio head Hideo Kojima stated during the Konami showcase event at Tokyo Game Show today that the team was looking at how television seasons were scheduled and considering a similar format for the game.However, at this stage its release format is still undecided.

Anyone think this is a good idea or not? I am not that bothered what format they go for as long as the game is as good as it looks

I think this is the wave of the future, this way they can release games faster and then add more content.
