Skylanders Giants planned for 3DS

Should this really surprise anyone given that the publisher is Activision and their company policy is basically to release their games on every platform possible?

None the less if you liked the original Skylanders, the sequel is coming to the 3DS.

It'll be like the 3DS version of the first game, completely different to the home console versions, yet still work with the toys you buy.

The existance of it was revealed here:

and it was also revealed that a different team will be working on it.

Anyone remotely excited for this?

I know I am. The first game was great on home consoles. I have the 3DS version but hardly play it. I plan on getting both different versions of Giants like I did with Spyro's Adventure. Hopefully though, the second game in the Skylanders series will be a longer game, the first was... too easy and rather short.
