If you've experienced any of the bugs in Bethesda's The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim listed in the 1.4 patch notes, you can now try out a beta version of the next update through Steam.
As pointed out on the Bethesda Blog, the update is still in development, so there's an elevated degree of risk associated with diving into 1.4 now. It doesn't appear as though the Creation Kit or mod management through Steam are live just yet, but you can at least see if Boethiah's Champion is finally working properly because you got all motivated and cleared Knifepoint Ridge on your own.
To get the update, click open your Steam Settings menu, select Skyrim under the beta participation section and then download and enjoy. And back up your old save files.
