Skyrim Considerably Better Than Its Predecessors?

I have played both Morrowind and Oblivion a long time ago and couldn't really get into them. Only really remember being bored by them.

But I have always been intrigued by Skyrim because of its "legendary" RPG status. mp3 ringtone

My friend has also been recommending I try it.

Could I possibly love Skyrim even if I have not enjoyed its predecessors?

I can't say for sure, but seems like the Final Fantasy series where you don't need to play past games to enjoy the current one.

I tried Oblivion and didn't care for it. I just recently put 80 hours into the PS4 version of Skyrim. They did away with some of the more tedious aspects of the prior games, Skyrim is much more streamlined.
