Do you have trouble going to sleep or staying asleep at night? What do you do (or have you done) to help alleviate the problem? Has this problem become worse during the pandemic?

I had trouble sleeping last night but I think it was because of the time change for daylight savings. We had to move our clocks forward so I lost an hour of sleep. This usually throws me off for a bit.

As long as I don't think while going to sleep I'm fine, though I do wake up several times but rolling over onto my side puts me back out.

I think that's my problem. If my mind is still going 100 miles an hour when I go to bed, then I can't go to sleep. If I wake up during the middle of the night, then it takes me forever to go back to sleep.

I'm glad I can go back to sleep, unless I wake up from a nigthmare or sweating madly, then it takes a bit more work.

But yeah, I got to stop thinking when I go to bed.

when the pandemic happened on this month last year... places started closing down.. and I've developed a habit of cooking late at night... and then sleeping late at night. It was a problem because my sleep schedule for work would be messed up.

now that I'm back to work, my sleep schedule has been slightly off... especially with Daylight savings time.
What I do to attempt to sleep is read a book. (even if the story is engaging) I end up dozing off. I used to be able to sleep with the TV on, but I can't do that anymore, sleep sounds end up being like a distraction for me. But reading sure has helped me with getting back that sleep schedule. :D

Reading before going to bed has been a routine for me. This helps me to get my mind off whatever has happened during the course of the day.

I definitely have trouble sleeping but that is probably all my fault for using my phone in bed. I end up using Spotify, Netflix and Reddit way too much in the night

I shut my phone off every night to prevent that, but I know I stay on the PC way too close to bedtime.

I try to do dishes or something simple before bed to give me that screen break.
