Today at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Samsung introduced the 'world's slimmest' Blu-ray player, the BD-D7500 with a total depth of only 1.1-inches.
But don't be confused, the BD-D7500 isn't all about form; it has all of the features and functions of other Blu-ray players, including 2D-to-3D conversion and internet-enabled apps via built-in Wi-Fi. The design features a slot-in loading mechanism, allowing users to mount it to a wall and load discs from the side. Other features include full 1080p HD upscaling for DVDs, Samsung's AllShare DLNA system, and touch sensor controls.
According to Samsung, the BD-D7500 will ship within the first half of this year, though pricing information has not yet been confirmed.
