he new PS5 console models are slimmer than their currently-available counterparts, with their volume reduced by 30%, and weight by 18% and 24%. The rumored PS5 detachable disc drive is confirmed as well, and it will release at some point later on for $79.99.

The consoles themselves will cost $499.99 for the PS5 with the disc drive and $499.99 for the PS5 Digital Edition

I'm glad that there would be an exernal disc drive for people who couldn't get the disc version of the PS5 a few years ago because the disc version of the PS5 was sold out in some stores.

They need to make more money from gamers, it's why they spin the wheel on different kinds of versions the consoles comes out. Gamers buy into it and it's why they will never stop doing it.
