Welcome the V SQUARED, a water-proof smartphone that doesn’t “play dumb with the bare minimum tech.” It comes with a 21-megapixel optical image stabilized camera which can record 4K videos. On the front side is an adequate 13-megapixel selfie camera which can record at minimum 2K videos as well.

The funding page says a unit of the smartphone will set you back a cool $650 and will be available for purchase this fall.

This does look like a nice phone for people who watch a lot of HD and 4K movies on their smartphones, or emulate a lot of full console games with a console emulator for the N64, Gamecube, and other consoles.

I think I may have just pee'd myself a little.
I do love my Galaxy but it's just not all that I want. I'm due an upgrade and have been eyeing the Droid Turbo (ballistic nylon? coooool! battery life and turbo charge, yeah, I NEED that!) but this... this might have me holding out a while on that upgrade.
I take a TON of pictures and need the space for them. I get nervous relying on "clouds" to hold them.I want to be able to access them ON my device, the minute I want to.

Oh man!
I would love to have such a phone.
The front camera for my phone is 13 megapixel..but this phone..exceeds even that and that storage...oh boy!  o.o

Selfie heaven, right?!
That excited me also. I use selfies to check my teeth, lol, like a mirror after I eat, to check my makeup when I don't have a mirror, and well, for vain facebook posts. So the higher resolution of selfies sounds amazing.

way too much money for something that could easily go bad.
According to the Product description on Amazon, this SD Card has a 10 year warranty. But, I agree it cost too much money for something could go bad.

Cell phone storage is also very expensive compared to MicroSD memory card storage. A 128 GB version of Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and iPhone 6 Plus can cost $1000 when you buy them without a contract.

Is there a point to having two sd card slots? I mean lets face it, give it a year or so and we'll likely have 500gb microsd cards on the market. Wouldn't be at all suprised if they're being worked on right now.

The phone sounds pretty good though and I'd like to see how well it performs.

You be able to have 1064GB on this phone when 500GB MicroSD cards exists. Some people may not have the time to wait 1 or more year for a 500GB  to be released.

If one MicroSD Card slot breaks, you still have one working MicroSD slot to use.

I bet, those 500GB MicroSD cards will cost many hundreds of dollars more than 200-300GB MicroSD Cards, so it will probably be more affordable to buy two 250GB MicroSD card instead of one expensive MicroSD Card.

Sharing files between 2 MicroSD cards will be easier when you have 2 MicroSD slots because you can copy and paste files and folders from one MicroSD Card to another by using a File Manager App.

Backing up your important files to 2 MicroSD Card, and the smartphones storage will make your important files less likely to become lost because of a storage problem because you have a copy of the same file on 2 MicroSD cards, and the internal storage on a smartphone, so even if your internal storage fails, and 1 MicroSD card breaks, you still have 1 copy of your files on the working MicroSD card.

With 2 slots, you can store 1 file on 2 MicroSD cards if there is an App which turns 2 MicroSD slot on this phone into one large storage drive like on PC where you can use 2 or more storage drives into one large storage drive as long as you have the right software and hardware installed on a PC, so you can store a 400GB file on your smartphone if there is an App which turns 2 or more storage drive into 1 large drive.
