I wonder would there be fewer leakers if Snapdragons were made in countries like America, Canada, Japan, or the UK. These leaks may cause Chinese companies like ZTE, Huawei, etc to copy the Snapdragon 820 speeds.

3 GHz is some crazy fast speeds for a mobile CPU. 3 GHz is faster than most CPUs which are installed on many cheaper desktop computers which still come with 2 GHz and under CPUs.

This looks like a good CPU for mobile gaming, and playing emulators on a smartphone, tablet or settop box with Android TV on it.

I agree, it looks pretty good.

It looks like smartphones in the near future will become a lot faster. Just curious: what's the best alternative out there to the Snapdragon processors?
I think the best alternatives would probably be the Nvidia Tegra K1, and X1, and higher end Intel Mobile Atom CPUs found on many Asian tablets, and smartphones made by Acer, and Asus.
