So, how will Nintendo promote Genesect?

It's been revealed in an upcoming Pokemon movie, but how will they promote and distribute it?

Will they give out an item for an event where you get it in game or merely send out the Pokemon over wifi? And how are they going to promote the event and talk about how awesome a prehistoric bug monster modified by Team Plasma is?

Oh, and by the way, if you didn't know the semi obvious, this is Genesect:

Maybe just a Wi-fi event... if there is an item that opens up a new area we would already know.
