Or better put relearn it since I haven't touched it since High School which has nearly been ten years now. Despite what I've said here before, I have decided to continue my education for a bachelors since my Associate degree is just a fancy two letter word for toilet paper. So if I am to get my bachelor's I need to hammer in the following algebra skills:

TOPICS IN FUNDAMENTALS OF ALGEBRA

Chapter 1 – Real Numbers and Algebraic Expressions:
- Simple decimal and fractional ordering, converting, and combining (things like add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- Finding factors of integers
- Least common multiple
- Mixed number calculations and converting to improper fractions
- Order of operations
- Integer calculations
- Exponents
- Combining like terms

Chapter 2 – Linear Equations and Inequalities in One Variable:
- Translating a sentence into an equation
- Additive property of equality
- Multiplicative property of equality
- Solving a linear equation with several occurrences of the variable
- Solving for a variable in terms of another variable
- Solving distance, rate, time problems
- Finding percentages
- Finding markup, discount, percent change, etc.
- Solving a linear inequality

Chapter 3 – Linear Equations in Two Variables:
- Graphing a linear equation
- Finding intercepts of a linear equation
- Finding slope
- Parallel and perpendicular lines/slopes
- Writing and equation of a line, given various information

Chapter 4 – Systems of Linear Equations in Two and Three Variables:
- Graphically solving a system
- Solving a system with substitution
- Solving a system using elimination

Chapter 5 – Exponents, Polynomials, and Polynomial Functions:
- Product rule of exponents
- Evaluating expressions with exponents in them
- Quotient rule of exponents
- Power rule of exponents
- Scientific notation calculations and conversions
- Degree and leading coefficient of polynomials
- Multiplying polynomials

Chapter 6 – Factoring Polynomials and Polynomial Equations
- Greatest Common Factor
- Factoring monomials, binomials, trinomials, by grouping, perfect squares, and special polynomials
- Solving polynomial equations

Chapter 7 – Rational Expressions, Functions, and Equations
- Evaluating rational functions
- Simplifying a rational function
- Multiplying and dividing rational functions
- Solving proportion word problems

Chapter 9 – Inequalities and Absolute Value
- Graphing and solving compound linear inequalities
- Solving absolute value equations

Chapter 10 – Rational Exponents, Radicals, and Complex Numbers
- Square root evaluations and simplifications
- Rational exponents

Chapter 11 – Quadratic Equations and Functions and Nonlinear Inequalities
- Applying the quadratic formula to find exact and decimal answers
- Finding the discriminant of a quadratic equation

Just curious if anyone here knows of some good websites that could allow me to master the basics in a short month? If I can, that will take off one class from my semester.

I'd recommend checking out Khan Academy, if you haven't already. Used it a bit in the past, and always found it helpful.

Algebra can be a bit tricky, but I'm sure you can do it no problem!

Good luck with the class!

I have pinned the website, and looks hard to me, but then I always had an learning disorder that takes me allot longer compared to other people who are some what normal.

I'm shocking at maths

Tell me where I can learn it easily and quickly!
Yeah, same. Make an topic that goes thought the easy steps, Need to learn it if you want to join the law

Not sure you're going to find anything that will teach you algebra in a month!

If you didn't pick it up when you were in school and you have a learning disorder you will just need to take the classes and not try to weasel out of it.

Just do the work and don't dick around and find you a tutor to help you get through it.

Only took me a week to pick up the basics really. Plus I haven't had a math class in ten years, and as they say you don't use it you lose it.

Have you ever tried going to YouTube and searching for tutorials on algebra? You may be surprised at what you can find. My brother struggled a lot with his course at University even after having things explained to him and he took to YouTube and a lot of what he didn't understand he was able to understand easier after using YouTube.

I have, but wasn't needed. Since I haven't taken any math in like ten years, I'm basically doing a class that is making me do all my math I ever learned in a short 4 months.
