So What Mobile Games Do You Play?

I know we all harp on how awful mobile games are, but I'm sure at least some of us are guilty of playing them too. What mobile games are you playing?

I play Neko Atsume, which is one I actually found via a Kotaku Article about it: The Japanese Cat Game We Can't Stop Playing . It's a silly little game where you put out toys and food for stray cats, and they come and play with them, and you take pictures. Eventually the cats will bring you little doodads and knick knacks to collect, and sometimes special cats who look like celebrities or are dressed up will come to interact with certain toys you've put out. It's goofy and just something to pop open and check occasionally, just to see what your cats are up too. Only downside is that all the text is in Japanese.

I've also been rather addicted to Monster Strike recently, a neat game that combines ball bouncing battle mechanics with monster collection, leveling, evolution, fusion, and ascension. There's a massive list of monsters to collect and make teams with, ranging from mythical creatures, dragons, weird little critters, anime like characters, mech girls, all sorts of stuff. I could definitely see the appeal of spending money on this one, but I never do.

I also play Crossy Road, a silly frogger like game with lots of different animals to collect and play as, as well as Bird Climb and Spider Square, both of which are similar to flappy bird in a way, but far more fun and less frustrating. I tend to pop those open when I looking for a quick diversion, or something to do while watching TV.

So, any mobile games that you peeps play?

Nope. I just carry my Vita with me wherever I go. I used to play Drawing with Friends or whatever it was called by Zynga, but after like 300 rounds or so the game locked up on both TigressStar and myself and they said they couldn't fix it, so that ended that. I played Pixel Dungeon for a while before I got the Vita, as well.

I had a horrible addiction to Candy Crush sometime last year or 2 years ago. I would play it when I was supposed to be paying attention in college... and when I was supposed to do other things as well. I broke that habit after my phone broke and I had to get a new one. I've been clean for almost 2 years.

With that addiction came Sonic Dash. It was like Sonic the Hedgehog mixed with Temple Run. Though the phone breaking caused me to stop playing it. I got it a second time and got really far, but then my phone broke again and I had to get another one.

Then I played Clash of Clans, but only because a friend of mine wanted me to. It was cool for a while, but it got boring.

Then I played Puzzle and Dragons and it was best one ever because it was so much fun... Then my phone broke a second time, I lost all the data after getting a third phone because for some reason the data transfer wouldn't work. :/

Currently, I play no mobile games because none catch my interest.

Only one worth mentioning, all things considered, would be Avabel Online…MMO for the phone. Honestly not bad at all, though I haven't played it in recent times.

Oh, and Blood Brothers for a bit, roommate from a couple years ago got me into that. I stopped eventually mainly because there was no feature to battle friends, and after I had a party that was good I had no reason to play single player anymore.

Hey man, Candy Crush Soda Saga is really good. I've gotten further in Soda Saga than I ever got in the original. They also keep introducing different mechanics rather than just making the game impossibly hard on certain levels.

I just finished playing Monument Valley, it was a pretty good mind bender. Angry Birds is always fun every once in a while.

Yeah, but my addiction was bad. Real bad. Like I couldn't do anything until I played it and used up all my lives. As soon as I got them back I would play again.

There was another game I played too that was fun. It was called Knights and Dragons. It was an rpg where you owned a town and people gave you quest. It was also multiplayer and you had guild battles. It was fun, but I got bored of it too.

I guess I also have a game called Hunger Quest. It's a puzzle RPG, but it must not be very good or memorable if I didn't remember it being on there.

I tried Candy Crush, I wasn't really a fan. Besides, once it came out how awful of a company King is, I just avoid all games by them honestly. I'm sure there are lots of other companies out there just as bad, but after the media flurry over them, I just can't stand to support them. :/

I play several mobile games between my iPhone and iPad Mini. I have particularity been playing Clash of Clans, True Skate, and Trivia Crack recently. I am a fan of multiplayer games that allow me to compete and compare myself to others around the world. I usually stick to free games, but "splurge" on $.99 games if I've heard good things about them.
