Software you use while gaming?

I use to use AIM to talk to my friend while gaming, and I also know of a few people who use Ventrillo to voice chat in online games with no voicechat support.

I also use Gamebooster to close un-needed software programs and Windows Services when I game, so no CPU and RAM is being wasted running background programs.

I also sometimes use Foobar2000 to listen to my own music while I game rather then the games music.

I use Mumble to talk to friends while ingame. It's very useful to call out when you need to do so.

I never really used a headset, I don't find it useful!! and while gaming, I like to concentrate on it only!! and any other software would just break my concentration...
