A solar-powered car in the UK would be interesting considering how little sun we get .

Never park in the shade again. The inside will get super hot when you come back into the car. It's always charging, but not good for long commutes like in the US, and not good for places with less sun like say Alaska.

This looks like a useful car to use for places with a lot of sun and good lighting.

I think some people who own this Solar car will park it in a garage with indoor lighting which could help charge this car with lights inside the garage.

I read on a blog this cars cost a lot of money, so it would be a good idea to park it in a garage to prevent car theft and vandalism from criminals.

I think a lot of people who own this car may still mostly charge it with an electric car battery charger when possible because it is faster, and there is always a chance there won't be enough sun in the future to fully charge it if they mostly park in a underground garage with poor lighting or not enough lighting to charge it.

They need to make these more affordable. Along with electric vehicles. It'd be more popular for those places who get a lot of sun.
People in our area live in the country, we're not rich so we can't afford cars like this.

I feel there needs to be more solar and electric vehicles which are smaller in size. A lot of people can't afford big cars which usually cost more because big cars need more metal and plastic to build a car.

True, but the solar panels would have to fold out to get more surface area so they can charge enough to go anywhere.

I saw on the news that a College is using external flexible and rollable Solar panels which can charge a car while it is park. Using some external solar panels maybe cheaper than building a big solar car which need more materials.

And then you would need a way to move all that energy over to a car if needed.
