In this thread, I will not be doing a let's play of Sonic 2.
It's the year 2051, and Sonic the Hedgehog is still running in Green Hill Zone. He's moving fast... maybe too fast. It was then that Sonic received a phone call from Doctor Eggman. Sonic picked up the phone and listened to what Eggman had to say.
"Mwahahahahaha! Hello Sonic! I've kidnapped your one true love, Princess Zelda! If you ever want to see her again, come over to my house and we'll have a spot of tea, and then I'll kill you! Mwahahaha! Oh, by the way, I ate the last chili dog! HAHAHAHA! Eggman out."
It was then that Sonic knew what he had to do, he had to stop Eggman from keeping Zelda any longer. In order to get there as fast as possible, Sonic stopped at Mega Man's house and stole his hoverboard. Sonic hoverboarded so fast, he went into the Mushroom Kingdom without realizing it!
Mario saw Sonic going 20 mph over the speed limit, so he put a banana peel in the road and Sonic's hoverboard tripped and fell.
Mario said "Hey Sonic, how's it going?"
Sonic said "Oh, it's going good. I'm off to save Princess Zelda"
Mario said "Oh, that's cool. I'm gonna have to kill you now because I LOVE PRINCESS ZELDA AND I WON'T LET YOU HAVE HER!"
Mario shot a fireball at Sonic, but he quickly evaded and rode his overboard OUTA THERE! Mario mumbled to himself "Grr, I wish I would have killed him and sent him back to Oil Ocean Zone..."
As Sonic began exiting the Mushroom Kingdom, he saw Eggman's house in the horizen. He almost arrived when, out of nowhere, Mega Man shows up and shoots Sonic off of his stolen hoverboard!
Mega Man says: That'll teach you to steal my things, you silly hedgehog!
Sonic says: I'm sorrry I'll never do it again!
Mega Man replied: You better not... and rode away on his hoverboard
Sonic finally reached Eggman's house by slowly running up to it. He knocked on the door and said "Eggman! Open up! I know you're on there!"
A voice from the other side of the door said "No no! He's not here right now! He's... out on a date with his girlfriend!"
Sonic didn't believe that for one second, so he pulled a conveniently placed bomb flower from out of the ground, and threw it through the window of Eggman's house. The house exploded, and Eggman went blasting off again! Zelda did too, but she landed directly in her castle, so everything's ok!
