I have been playing Sonic Generations all day. And I have one word for it... Awesome. This game appeals so much to me because it goes back to it's roots.
I am also in the top 20 times foe Green Hill Zone Act 1
Sounds like you're having some quality! I suggest writing up a review for it and posting it in The Review Bucket for all to read about once you feel as if you're ready to do so!
Ok, so I picked this game up and have to say it is pretty fun and addicting but I will point out a few things for you more critical fans. First of all...classic sonic WILL indeed get the homing attack after the first few stages but it actually works out quite well. Secondly...the stages can be VERY short, but they do push you to explore the best possible ways to "S" Rank stages, which is totally fun in my opinion. The story is short and nostalgic and does its best to mimic the console version's story without much change. Where the game really shines in the fun department is the online multiplayer
. I've been playing the game non stop for the past few hours haha. Porkman says: It's definitely worth the buy, the game has tons of replay value.
Haha yeah Emerald Coast is one of toughest ones but not as hard as Radical Highway. I died sooo many times on that level!
I personally like playing as the new Sonic more because it just feel so much more faster - the way Sonic is meant to be. But the older Sonic is pretty cute haha.
I'd really love to play some people on here in Sonic!
Of course I heart this game so much. But I did feel that it was way too short, it only took me an hour to complete the story, especially compared to the console/pc version. I felt that the 3DS could have had the same amount of stages as the console versions, full cut scenes, unlockable custom music for stages not just as extras and added skills. I guess it all balances out with online multiplayer and street pass features.
Also dat Sonic Rush love with Water Palace as a stage made me so happy as it is one of my all time favorite games.
