Hey didn't know you had a channel! I watched the latest video re Sony only selling digital copies. There was a meme storm about that a while ago so basically everyone in gaming knew what's up.
I think Sony really didn't factor the reputation damage into consideration. Not sure what the drugs the execs at Sony were cooking. What they could have done instead is just make it increasingly more annoying to acquire physical copies while making digital copies easier and then wait for X-box to make this massive mistake.

Thanks for watching! I need to work on my next video, which will be a follow up to my 7 Gaming Pet Peeves video since I thought of some more pet peeves haha. Yeah the whole Sony going all digital is lame lol, and there's a rumor that the next Xbox might have a disc drive and they're going to try out a feature where you can back up your physical games. I thought Sony would do something like that but nope lol.

Re disc drive to backup your games I think Xbox is in perfect positino to do that now and try to steal the market. Although crazy shit is happening there so god knows what is going on. There were some news that a bunch of studios were gone or got laid off.
I'm a PC/steam guy but always thought consoles offer a great way for gaming for people who doesn't want to bother with building an expensive PC. Both Xbox and Sony seems to be going downhill, this is not good for console folks.
