Sony Cutting European PS3 Price?

We know Sony said they weren't cutting the price of the PlayStation 3 in Europe.

But they totally are.

We know because CNN said so. And they are reputable, damn it.

Specifially, CNNMoney.com posted: "Sony (NYSE:SNE) is to cut the price in Europe of its new generation video game console PlayStation 3 (PS3) by 100 to 200 euros to boost sales ahead of Christmas, newspaper Les Echos reported."

We know it isn't official, but we'll bet anyone that a price-drop is on it's way. We'll go out on a limb like that. link

So they why don't they do that here to help move some of the PS3s that are junking up the shelves here??

That's some good news for the European folk, but they ought to do that for us.
