Sony is commemorating the launch of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain by launching several new products that carry the title’s branding, this is why the company today launched a Metal Gear Solid-branded Walkman. It’s a rebranded version of the expensive ZX2 Walkman but Sony isn’t charging extra for this particular version, it’s available for about the same price as the normal ZX2, which is close to $1100.

This looks like a nice looking MP3 player. I like the case design. $1100 is too expensive. I feel this MP3 player should be $200 or less like the Apple iPod Touch.
I guest these MP3 players will mostly be bought by video game collectors, and the most hardcore Metal Gear Solid collectors which has $1100 to spend on an MP3 player.
