With the whole cross-play/saves debate probably coming back with the news that the Destiny 2 F2P version will not support cross saves on PS4 (at least at launch), I wondered if Sony's atitides would change if a PS+ subscription was needed to play F2P games with Cross-Play/Saves, as Microsoft already does.
It seems clear that Sony's main problem in allowing everything is money (since it wouldn't force a person to stay in their ecosystem and spend money there), so requiring a PS+ subscription would theoretically solve that. But the big question is, would the general public accept this or many would still prefer to stay without cross-play/save only to continue playing without paying anything.
