All Kershaw County public schools went into lockdown Wednesday morning after deputies said a Lugoff-Elgin High School student made threats on the Internet.
Kershaw County Sheriff's Department Captain David Thomley said deputies took the unidentified 15-year-old sophomore into custody Wednesday morning for allegedly threatening the school on the online gaming website RuneScape.

The British-run Runescape online gaming site called in the FBI, which in turn tracked down the IP's origin and called the cops, and made the arrest.
Their TOS states that if players promote unlawful conduct online or use the site to break laws of any country, their ISP will be contacted and they get banned. Almost all online communities on the Net have this written in their TOS agreement.
