South Korea Outlawing Game Mods/Hacks?

Well, it's mostly aimed at cheating focused ones like Aimbots, but this seems a bit worrying none the less:

It basically means anything that breaks a game's terms of service is now illegal. Which as you guess, kind of shuts down a lot of things for good or bad.

But what do you think of it? Are you worried about the possibility of mods and hacks being outlawed like this in other countries?
 
Mods/hacks that allow you to cheat *should* be banned. No complaints from me.
 
I'd agree with that, except:

1. This doesn't just leave it open to ban mods that let you cheat, but any mod, including those that add legitimate features and content.

2. I don't believe someone should go to prison for their actions in a video game.
 
Yes agreed. Sadly, laws in some other countries are very strict...
