Do you have much issues with spam callers? Some days are worse than others. Because I use my cell phone for work as well, I have to answer just in case it's a potential client. More often than not I answer and the line just disconnects.

@Sharon I was about to post about this topic yesterday. My friend got scammed a few months ago so wanted to make a topic similar to this. But back to topic yes I do get them I block them and I use an app called TrueCaller it blocks Spam Callers.

I know some people simply wants to play over my mind and get the better of me through scam. When I notice any strange caller whose identity doesn't show up, I don't pick such kind of call.

If I see an unknown number, I never answer it. If it's someone I know or if its important enough, they'll leave a message.

I usually wait until they leave a message at home but on my cell phone I never get anything I don't know about except maybe texts.

I only answer the phone from unknown numbers if the number has a local area code. 90% of the time for me it’s either work related, so some local business stuff. The majority of spam callers are from outside areas.

Not that much, to be honest. Unless it's a contact calling, I don't answer the phone. So if a spammer does try calling, they'll just think it's a waste of time to keep trying if I never answer.

I find that those from my "local" area code are the spam callers, I think they're called Spoofers where they use software to call out and their number is cloaked by a local number. I remember calling a number back and the person on the other end was completely clueless and I used to believe they were just messing with me but it happened multiple times and when I looked it up that's the term I came across.

All of the unknown calls that have my local area code have been legit. All of my spam callers are from random ass towns I’ve never heard before or since.

If I ever needed to know a phone number though I have them written down and saved on my cell phone. That way I know who they are before messaging, and I can start the conversation to make sure.

I don't get many spam calls at home. I occasionally get a spam call recording that I have a package, or to pay my bills.

I usually let Google's automated thing take care of those, then they hang up when they realize a bot picked up.
