Given this time of year, if you hand out candy to trick or treaters, how much do you spend on candy? How much have you heard of others spending?

I don't tend to hand out to trick or treaters now as I have had incidents where it's been teenagers causing trouble who give you grief and abuse at the door so I tend to now lock my door after a certain time and never answer to anyone knocking unless someone tells me before hand they are coming around.

teenagers are a problem this time of year.
I agree, just walking around with my brother and my kids this year doing some trick or treating we came across some teens that weren't even dressed up and were obviously just out to get free candy and cause trouble. It's a shame a select few ruin it for others.
