Anyone ever play this oldie? I personally love it! If you have played this game before, what do you like and don't like about it?

I loved the first three spyro games for the PS1, used to play them a lot with my grandma and they were really fun. Wish they bring them back in the same way.

Absolutely loved Spyro as a kid! Must preferred it to Crash Bandicoot :) I don't really play those kinda games any more, after Spyro I fell in love with Ratchet and Clank then it fizzled out a bit from there.

Spyro was my jam!  I got so excited whenever I'd get on that hot air balloon.  I absolutely hated Sgt. Byrd or whatever his name was.  Always thought he was up to no good.    That moneybags guy was a P.O.S. too >_>

I did for a few time on my friends' PS1 really long time ago. It was quite boring a must say even if I heard lot of poeple talking about it like it was such a masterpiece of game but even at that time I didn't really think it was such a blast as a game, it was just "standard game of that epoch" to me. The story wasn't even emphatizing that much so even on the gameplay side it was a bit disappointing.

moneybags was a hated greedy guy, but he made the game all more that.
That's true I suppose.  I loved at the end of the game you could attack him to get back all the money  /  eggs you've ever spent on him

I enjoyed playing the game and the graphics and the music were really nice in the game and was free to explore as well and some of the enemies were challenging in the game and had to think what to do. I also liked how the world was easy to navigate, and you could save the game easily and could load the game as well and a nice adventure game which was enjoyable. It was different from Crash Bandicoot and was a game which had better graphics than other games at the time and also a well-written story as well and suitable for all ages.

I played the first game and really enjoyed it, although I never completed it for reasons to this day still elude me.

I'm gonna have to see if I can pick it up somewhere an play it again.
