PC/Mobile Square Enix Announces Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy Mobile Game

Square Enix announced on Tuesday that it and NHN PLAYART are planning to release a new smartphone game titled Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy in 2026. Square Enix started streaming a teaser trailer for the game, and is also recruiting players in the U.S. and Canada for its closed beta test. Recruitment period is until October 28, and the closed beta test will start on November 7 until November 14.

The game is a 3v3 team boss battle arena. Tetsuya Nomura is the game's creative producer and also designs the character with Miki Yamashita.

Dissidia Duellum looks like a fun mobile game.

I hope the game will be release on PC and consoles in the future.

So I got to ask, who got high at SE and approved this? I thought they were going to cut back on the bad games? No one asked for this and it will flop.

Square Enix again? Those guys don’t rest at all. Dissidia Duellum sounds cool though. I used to play the Dissidia Final Fantasy back then, the graphics, the moves, everything was clean. I just hope this new one is good as well.
