Star citizen came out with a demo

This is actually a Star Citizen spin-off, Squadron 42, which will release in 2026.

Then in 2026 it will be delayed again lol. Mark Hamill mo-capped that scene like 10 years ago lol

Despite all the hate against star citizen I was never against possibly buying it when it came out eventually.

Delays for the delays on the delays lol.
More than 10 years and not a single fully playable Squadron 42 mission. I mean S42 is not even an open world Space combat flight sim, it's a linear scripted space combat flight sim game, surely at least one or 2 missions are already fully playable by now. Also Chris said before that S42 was already feature complete just needed 'polish' and yet now another 2 years delay lol. I am a big fan of his classic Wing Commander Space Combat Flight Sim Games, and I do want a new Wing Commander Space Combat Flight Sim like game. But alas looking at S42, I have very little hope lol

Better to delay and release a quality product than put something out which is sub-par. Its difficult for titles to recover from a bad launch.

Star Citizen player reports CIG is making him sign an NDA before getting a refund

We’ve chronicled the weird steps players have needed to take to get refunds from Star Citizen numerous times before, but now it looks like there’s a fresh wrinkle added to the already wrinkled bedsheets of the process if a Redditor’s account is to be believed.

According to FeralSquirrels, he received a response to his letter requesting a refund roughly a month ago that appeared to make similar remarks as another concession by CIG last July. What’s different this time around, though, is the fact that he is being told he has to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) in order to receive his refund – a reveal that caught many gamers by surprise – along with choosing whether to keep his user status or be removed from the game entirely.

When seeking advice from other Redditors (as well as planning on getting a free legal consultation on the matter), some replies pointed out that using an NDA before receiving a refund may be against UK law and EU law. Further, a look through the refunds FAQ and its terms of service don’t mention an NDA requirement.

FeralSquirrels did point out that he isn’t signing anything before seeking counsel and that he has until November 8th to respond to CIG, so it’s possible that news of this added obstacle may unfurl further in the next few days.
