This is a great game that I'm sure you guys will enjoy. I recently got back into it and I'm loving it again. The developers did a good job of revamping the game after the huge mess at launch.

At the start, it had a huge pay-to-win problem which obviously led to the famous Reddit comment saga. I have no idea if you can still buy credits with money but it's definitely fine now.
 
I wonder how many of them are actually interesting in playing and how many just downloaded it because it was free

Well I was the one who downloaded them for free as its a STAR WARS GAME and I guess same goes with others.
 
If it went free on the Xbox Store for games with gold I would definitely enjoy downloading it. I hear it's quite an amazing game. I had star wars battlefront the first one and played that quite a bit with my friend. I just never invested any money in buying the second one but the first one was great so I imagine the second one is as well.

If it ever goes free on games with gold I will get it. That's bound to happen at some point.
