sourceNow, if you have two computers on the same network signed into your Steam account, you can remotely install, launch, and play games through the second computer. The new service ultimately allows those with another lower powered computer—maybe an older laptop—to stream titles from a well-equipped gaming PC.
In-Home Streaming can even work with computers running different operating systems, such as OS X, SteamOS, or Linux. Considering the limited selection of Steam games available through these other OSes, this can be just what you need to play your full library of games through your MacBook Pro, for example.
Video and audio is delivered through your home network from the gaming PC to the secondary device, and player control commands are sent back to the primary computer.
Nice feature for those with tons of PCs in their home.
