Steam's payment system crashed on Halloween Sale

Steam's payment system appears to have crashed, with less than an hour to go before the Halloween sale ends. The problems were first reported on Reddit.

Obviously not great timing. We've contacted Valve for comment, and will update as we learn more. Guess even virtual bank accounts just get too full sometimes.
 
Steam payment system also crashed during Baldur's Gate 3's Early Access Launch.

Well like I said before It's a great rpg with one Hero PLOT-able elf waifu so far lol despite in Early Access state and it's a continuation of the great Baldur's gate I and II. BG I and II backthen were the only western rpgs that rivaled the quality jrpgs at the time:

“Everybody and their dog was convinced that Western RPGs were dead,” says BioWare cofounder Trent Oster. “It was all gonna be Japanese RPGs. Nobody in the Western world knew how to make [RPGs] … there was just no hope.” If the Western RPG was dead, the Western computer RPG was doubly dead: Every one of those top 13 RPGs from ’95 had come out on a console.

And also Bioware's Dragon Age I was inspired by Final Fantasy 12.

lol The creators of Baldur's Gate III confirmed it themselves the game will have multiple hero PLOT-able waifus including evil waifus lol like jrpgs waifu stuff.

Yep that's why I was just looking forward for it not for plot lol
 
I feel more Steam Payment workers working from home because of the Covid19 lockdown may of cause this server outage problem.

Working from home maybe more difficult for some computer server workers who prefer working with co-workers to do server maintenance, and upgrades like installing software upgrades, changing software settings to the server, adding more RAM, and instslling a faster CPU on the server..
 
I feel Steam can offer a $10 to $20 giftcard to people who had their orders not processed, and causing them to missed out on the sale because of technical problems.

Nope but for some games they didn't removed sale price maybe due to that

I don't think steam will do that kek cuz it's sales were great enough to save them
