Steve Ballmer says Windows Phone 8 will topple RIM Blackberry 10 for number three spot

MICROSOFT CEO Steve Ballmer boasted on Monday that the firm's Windows Phone 8 mobile operating system will topple RIM's Blackberry 10 in the race to become the third most popular smartphone ecosystem, Reuters reports.

I think Windows Phone 8 may become the number 3 most popular phone operating system because RIM's Blackberry does not seem that interesting, and have fewer apps then iPhone, and Android, and I imagine Windows Phone 8 can be used to play portable versions of Xbox games.

That's hardly fair. RIM has been circling the drain for years now, and that isn't likely to change, so Ballmer stating this, would be like Usain Bolt stating that he could beat Stephen Hawking in a foot race.
