Stream vs torrents vs megalinks, which do you prefer?

I would like to download anime through links. So, what about you guys? What do you prefer in general?

Torrenting is easier for me. If they shut a site down, you still have access to it.

Depends on how it was acquired before the download. If it’s a TV or Blu-ray rip, then definitely. If it’s ripped from a streaming service, then there’s no difference.

If nothing else, not dealing with buffering is always a major download plus.

I feel Torrenting is my prefer way to download anime because streaming and download websites sometimes close down or the video file is removed, or the video is temporarily offline because of web hosting problems.

To be honest, Nyaa torrenting website got too many torrents with English subtitles but still, I don't see any English subtitles in them.
So, I have been streaming stuff these days.

Did you use the drop down box to actually search for shows with English subtitles, or are you just downloading files? They do have a lot of raw episodes on there.

Also like Skeith said, did you turn on subtitles on your software? If it’s an MKV file, the subtitles tend to be soft encoded, meaning you can turn them on and off at will like a DVD, and some players don’t have the subs on by default. Software like VLC lets you turn them off or on in its menus.
