Yoshinori Ono, producer of not only the Street Fighter IV-series but also the upcoming Street Fighter x Tekken, recently tweeted on his very active Twitter account that Capcom are preparing a Street Fighter x Tekken announcement, in the regular vein of today's game developers to announce announcements.
When asked for more information on the new game, he said “We are preparing to make announce for SFxTK!”, and they've been saying for quite some time that new info will surface at Captivate 2011, which just so happens to be in April.
Street Fighter x Tekken has no set release date as of yet, but it will be released for PS3 and Xbox 360, though it has been said that it will probably release before Namco's version, Tekken x Street Fighter, which is being handled by Katsuhiro Harada and Namco Bandai in the style of Tekken. Expect some new footage and information shortly.
