Anyone played the game before?
I have it for the PC and it's also a game for the PS3 and XBOX 360 (but since I own it for the PC, I posted in this section)

I dislike how they took away most of Jin's moves.. :/
Other than that, this game kicks butt. I love it and you will too if you're either a Tekken or Street Fighter fan.

And how is the story in this game? It would be the factor that I would get it.
 
I watched 'em all, :P (the ending of that trailer was funny)
The storyline well.. it varies for each character but all in all, it's a fighting game and you know how all fighting games work, ;)
 
I really was not a fan of this one.

The combat was great, but as someone who loves storyline in his fighting game, i thought it left a lot to be desired.

Also the character list could have been better.

I would have loved to have seen Tekken characters like Devil Kazuya and Angel as well as Street Fighter characters like Oro and Alex make a appearance.

the customization also was pretty "bland" as it only had a very select few of colors to choose from rather than havign a full customization items selection like previous Tekken games.

I guess since this was a Capcom's effort its understandable why the customization came out so lacking since Namco's Tekken x Street Fighter will most definitely be better in that respect.

Speaking of Tekken x Streetfighter, I get the feeling that I am definitely going to be likeing it better than Street Fighter x Tekken.

Namco did the right thing here by releasing theirs later.

That way they can improve where Capcom failed.
 
Yeah. As a tekken fan, I'll most likely prefer Tekken X Street Fighter (Namco's version).
Another character that I miss from Tekken's side was Eddy and that girl that plays just like him.

For the customization part, I have not tried it out yet although I have seen online players using Kazuya with Bison's hat and Hwoarang with rasta hair, lmao.
That looks pretty cool, to be honest.

The character list looks okay to me (I have no issues there).
PS. I did not know Namco was making one or I would have held back on the purchase.. but err.. I'll be glad to get both games, haha.

I believe the customization regarding Kazuya with Bison's hat is a paid DLC that you must buy rather than a customization option from the beggining which really does damper it if you ask me.

And Namco's version will not be released until after TTT2 which doesn't come out till September, so you where right in not holding out since its most likely will not be coming out until the Spring of next year.

Its going to be a long wait, but I think it will definitely be worth it.

One thing I liked about the guys incharge at Namco is that they HATE the idea paid DLC for Tekken.

This is somethign Capcom definitely needs to work on.

The guy in charge of Tekken has made it clear that characters will NEVER be paid DLC for Tekken but that he will reward those with EARLY DLC for future Tekken games should they preorder.
