How do you handle stressful situations at work? How often do you have to deal with a stressful situation at your work?

Rarely but the only way that works for me is to keep working.

I take a deep breath and focus on finding a solution. Stressful situations can occur occasionally, but I prioritize taking care of myself and finding ways to manage my workload.

It can be, but I can’t come up with a quantifiable frequency, as it’s random.

I just push through to get through it. Procrastinating it can make the stress worse, or just last longer.

I kinda share stuff with my family.
So, they usually try to cheer me up and usually that's how I deal with stressful situations be it professional or personal.

I like this answer.

Too many times I think people don't prioritize taking care of themselves and that can lead to it having a negative affect on their health.

I hope to try this way to manage stressful situations from now on.

Well, there's nothing much to do but take it one at a time and fix what I can until everything is sorted out.

It's hard to not be stressful when the air around you is thick with it. I practice Self-Care. When I worked, I tried to leave work at work & focus on home when at home.

It's always stressful at work that I have to get used to it like a normal thing that I have to face everyday through the weekdays. It's why I don't joke with weekends, cos it's my days of peace.

I have never been someone who has been able to deal with stress too well and it can often be the reason I struggle as badly as I do.

I work from home which makes things easier but it does not eliminate all the stress that I go through. I have found ways to manage stress better but I feel I could work more on managing stress better.

The distraction which comes with working at home can bring its own bunch of stress because it's hard to eliminate those home distraction 100%. It's only going to be reduced if you're living alone.

This I can agree with 100%! I work from home myself but I also have four children, two of whom are now adults and the other two are 15 and 17 this year. For the most part they let me get on with work but I find I can be easily distracted by even the smallest of things that are not from my kids and that can make things super stressful when you are trying to stick to a schedule and routine.

Your adults kids wouldn't be much problem for you when you're trying to work but those 15 and 17 years, you will never stop talking because of them unless you have a work room where you can stay and lock the door.
