When it comes to anime films, these are my favourite: I've seen most of Studio Ghibli's films and I liked all of them. It's probably impossible to pick just a few of them. They're all great and original and their genre varies, but these are my all-time favourites:

Tales of Earthsea may not be everyone's favourite and it received some bad reviews, but I really liked this one. It was a beautiful adventure with stunning background and effects and a great story. I'd seen Spirited Away a long time ago, so I don't remember much, but it certainly is one of my favourites. Plus, the story is 100% unique, if you ask me. Howl's Moving Castle was done after a novel and although I'd never read it, I plan on doing so. However, I bet no novel can accomplish the same level of perfection with which Studio Ghibli presented this anime film. I'd watched it seven times so far and I will definitely watch it at least seven more. The Cat Returns was the dreamiest anime film I'd seen. I really enjoyed watching all those cats act human. And when the human started becoming a cat... that was absolutely the best part. Plus, the Baron is just adorable!

Do you watch movies by Studio Ghibli? Have you seen some? Which are your favourites? Did one of them disappoint you? Were you expecting more?

I have watched a lot of Studio Ghibli films. I watched My Neighbor Totoro, Howls Moving Castle, Ponyo, and I have also watched Tales of Earthsea. I liked the movie, I have never really heard any bad reviews on it.

I really don't have a favorite Studio Ghibli film, all the ones that I watched, I really liked. There are even more that I want to see but never got around to watching them yet. I have also never been disappointed with a movie. I think they are all nice and it's nice to watch them with a family.

I like a lot of their films, but I haven't seen them all yet to rank my favorite.

I love Studio Ghlbi. My favorite of their films is definitely Nausicaa, such a great story. Their movie "When Marnie was There" is coming out in the theater here pretty soon, and I definitely plan to go see it.

Did you guys hear about the studio's hiatus? Probably old news by now, but I only just heard about it. I don't know a whole lot about what is going on with it but I guess they are, or were at least, restructuring - or something along those lines.
