Sad news this week in the Youtube community as the Game Theorist's main video editor who was known as Ronnie "Oni" Edwards committed suicide.

As someone who had to console a few members on this site over the years due to similar issues, always know you can reach out for help and always be willing to help those as well.

RIP Ronnie "Oni" Edwards

It is sad that depress people choose to harm themselves because of problems in their life, and getting affordable mental health is hard to find, or you risk being called crazy if someone finds out you are seeing a therapist/Psychologist or get sent to a mental hospital for help.

Is it just me, or is he smiling while crying and sounding sad at the same time?
It always sucks to see someone die like that, though I've barely known either Edwards or the guy in the video.

It is sad to realize that our society does not have the support system to spot or help out such cases of troubled/lonely individuals. No one cares for their neighbor nor knows how they are doing.

I don't think lonely and troubled should be the same thing.
I'm lonely for such a long time, it's normal to me and can get annoyed fast if I'm around other people for too long.

In all fairness, it's hard to even tell how people are feeling. A lot of the most depressed people I know look like the happiest people alive because they don't want anyway to feel the way they do. Plus, we do have the suicide hotline. It's just that not a lot of people call (that I'm aware of) because depressed people try to avoid talking or thinking about their depression.

Possible, he has that kind of look that he can't appear sad.

lonely can mean something else pending how it used. I am lonely but not to the point it is bad or anything like that.

I mentioned troubled/lonely. But I think living alone does have it demerits, not all people are affected by it mentally but some have troubled thoughts brewing in their heads.

Sorry I meant lonely and troubled and not interchangeably.

I agree living alone can cause problems for some people. Some people may not realize they are being mentally affected by always being alone until their boss, co-worker, family doctor, and random stranger tells them that they look unhappy. When you live alone, and try to always not interact with people, there is a greater chance no one will tell you look unhappy.
