Insomniac Games' Xbox One exclusive hits this fall on October 28th 2014.
 
If you needed another reason to love Sunset Overdrive, here's one: it just made a joke about 90% of the other shooters on the gaming landscape.
 
A promo clip at the beginning of Sunset Overdrive's spotlight at the Xbox press conference featured a soldier huddled beind a crate as assailants fired at him. Then a Sunset character blasted in a display of the kind of the over the-top, propulsive gameplay the game's been teasing.

I laughed a lot during this game's presentation, it looks to be good.
 
The trailer for this game was hilarious, but the game itself looked just as funny! Sunset Overdrive seems to be bringing something to gaming that hasn't been seen many times before. Not only does it have humor, but it has that Sonic looking gameplay with sliding from rail to rail heading towards one objective. The game will most likely boost sales of the Xbox One largely.
 
It's sort of a mix up of a couple of genres and games. I don't think this will be a game I'll play seriously. Just something to hit up when the friends are over or something. Still looks fun!
 
Looks like they tried to take the best parts of a lot of different genres and put them together. I hope it turns out well. At least it looks like it's going to be entertaining. I'll still probably buy it when it comes out. 
 
I missed the E3 presentation for this slightly, so I came in half way through, but that movement looks so good. Reminds me of how a Spider-Man game should really play. So I'll mostly be picking it up to imagine that I'm playing a Marvel Zombies game I guess.
 
Really looking forward to this game but why did I miss the release date? I have been keeping an eye out for the release date for a while now and hadn't seen it until now. 

I was hooked on the trailer when I saw it at E3, it looks like a really fun game and one that I will have a lot of fun playing when I get my copy. It's a shame it's being released so close to other games though as it means I may have to pick and choose what games I really want but I think this one will win :)
