The Los Angeles Rams will face the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI, in Inglewood, California, on February 13. Anyone here looking forward to it? What do you hope to see from commercials and the Pepsi half-time show?
 
I honestly haven't followed the NFL since the pandemic started. I may or may not catch the big game.
 
I would probably watch some of the Superbowl commercials on TV, and watch clips of it on TV news.
 
I've got friends rooting for the Bengals. Perhaps I'll get back on the bandwagon next year - football Sundays were always a good reason to get together but with everyone being so on alert about COVID, visiting has not been priority these last couple of years.
 
Enjoy it, everyone. I was looking forward to watching it properly for the first time but I forgot to book some time off work. Because of the timezone differences, I won't be able to watch it :(
 
The actual sports aspect of it is really cool but the amount of ads/breaks you guys have is absurd. Feels weird watching it when you're used to not having any ad breaks during football (soccer) games.

It is insane but if you look at the money it takes to upkeep, run and pay the players, I'm surpised it isn't more.
 
If you didn't keep up the Rams won. Also, I skipped watching it this year. Any good commercials? I bet they are all dumbed down because television but anyways hope whoever watched it enjoyed it and didn't lose money betting on it.

I didn't watch the game too closely but I was definitely tuned into the half time show. I felt like it was made for me and my friends - we had like a mini karaoke session. lol What an awesome set!
 
The halftime show was utter garbage. Cant wait for them to have actual musicians next year.

That's generally their gig. Musicians are there but they have to march. Individual artists seem to vary but it's mostly popular stuff so don't get your hopes up too much.
 
I can definitely see the age differences in this thread. lol Eminem is pretty universal though and is respected all around. Really enjoyed the half time show this year. I'm not crazy about them toying with the idea of hyping up the half time show though and sprinkling in recordings of preparation before the half time show. The superbowl is long enough as it is with commercials don't need a play by play of the making of the half time show too.
