Super Mario 3D or Super Mario Bros. U

So I'm finally getting a Wii U come this Friday, the main focus will be for smash bros but since Nintendo didn't think to sell a Wii U with a copy of smash, I'm left to a Wii U bundle with either Super Mario Bros. U or Super Mario world 3D. I should have gotten the zelda one, but oh well.


So to those who have played these games, which one is the better one or you would recommend most?

From watching gameplay I think 3D world looks better but I can't say from experience.

I haven't played Super Mario Bros. U, but after hearing sooo many negative reviews of its 3DS version, I'd go with the 3D World game. I've played 3D World and it's alright. Some levels are amazing btw.

Your Internet is most likely better than mine so I don't think it'll cross 10 minutes for you. But you can just leave the GamePad on while it downloads the update.

I have both games and enjoy both.  Which one do you like better?

I got Super Mario 3D world, I really enjoyed it and still need to finish the star levels.

What I dislike is being required to have XX stars to progress in the game =/

I had way more fun with 3D world.  It's awesome.

then you weren't playing it right
