N64 Super Mario 64 Green Demon Challenge

The Green Demon Challenge in Super Mario 64 is a challenge to collect all of the red coins in a world, while a green 1-UP mushroom is chasing you. The challenge is made difficult by the fact that the mushroom travels faster than Mario runs, so many tricky and evasive maneuvers are needed.

The rules to the game:

1. Climb a tree that spawns a 1Up mushroom
2. Collect the 8 Red coins and Star
3. Don't collect the 1-UP

Worlds that it can be done in:

1. Bob-omb Battlefield
2. Whomp's Fortress
3. Cool, Cool, Mountain
4. Shifting Sand Land
5. Snowman's Land
6. Tick Tock Clock
7. Rainbow Ride
8. Bowser in the Fire Sea
9. Wing Mario Over the Rainbow

Anyone ever done it?

Might try it on 3D All-Stars but it would require me to spend some money at my local store when I have other things planned than playing Mario again. A very neat challenge though and more fun than speedrunning.

First time I've heard of this, wish I still had my N64, I would give it a go.
