Well this is rather disappointing... but still, I won't have the money to get a Wii U at launch anyways

Well if this means that it isn't rushed, then i'm happy
But Now I don't know what game i'm gonna get with my Wii U

That kinda sucks, but at least now I don't have to feel obligated to buy 2 games( Zombi u being the other one) with my Wii u on the launch day.

Remind us.... when was this started, in terms of development?

I hope you're not doing that really annoying thing. The whole "announced = started development" thing.

Like New Super Mario Bros Wii was announced in June 2009, and released in November 2009, and people are still like "OMG it took 5 months to make". It did NOT take 5 months to make, it was just announced to be IN development, 5 months before release, having already started development before the announcement.

Therefore, you can't say whether it was rushed because it could for all you know have already been finished, and is simply waiting for the Wii U to be finished and released.

Eh, not the worst thing ever. If it's not a launch title, that just means I can wait until the game's out to buy a Wii U and save a bit more money beforehand.

Yeah this isn'ta ll that bad. I mean it could be worse. I could not come out all. I'd rather have a late game than a crappy game that was finished too fast.

It may not be that bad for us, but it won't do the Wii U's launch any favours.

Judging by the article, though, I'd say that this is probably a load of rubbish. It's all founded on a single quote from a PR man. PR people are famous for making cock-ups, so in all probability he just made a mistake/phrased it badly (it's not as if he said "it's delayed" or "it's not a launch title anymore". Those statements would be unambiguous, his certainly was not).
