Basically, what do you want in the Wii U's main Mario games?

Do you want them to be 2D, 3D or both?

Do you want the games to be more linear like Galaxy and 3D Land or less like Mario 64 and Sunshine?

Mushroom Kingdom as the setting, space as the setting or a new area as the main setting?

Should the Koopalings return?

Here's what I think:

There should be both 2D and 3D Mario games, and the former should be much better than the New Super Mario Bros series and actually use the hardware to its full potential.

Don't mind what the games are like here.

Depends, but I'd want either an open world Mario 64 like game set in the Mushroom Kingdom or a more linear one in a new location. Don't want to see outer space for a third time.

Most certainly yes.

I would LOVE IT f they made a 3d open-world game in the beanbean kingdom, but they never would

And I don't think the koopalings should be in any more 2D games, but i'd like to see them in a 3D game.

I would like to see a 3D open-world game that does not take place in Mushroom Kingdom, maybe Super Mario Galaxy 3 or Sunshine 2, and of course with orchestrated music!

3D open World set in the Mushroom Kingdom. I still would like some 2D platforming though. Off-topic slightly, but I'd also like to see some multiplayer. Proper multiplayer, no "Co-Star" crud. Like second player actually gets to control another character, like Luigi or Toad or Yoshi (if he's not rideable) or something. And the screen splits when the players wander away from eachother.

I'd love another 3D game, and my preference would be that is is more open like SM64 and Sunshine. I'd also like it not to be another sequel (regardless of what it would succeed). And I'm ready for a non-space setting, definitely.

As for having the Mushroom Kingdom as the setting...I don't really care. I voted "no" in the poll since I'd like to see new areas, but they could probably come up with some interesting places in the Mushroom Kingdom, too.
