sourceIn a press release today, Innex Inc. announced the upcoming launch of the Super Retro Trio, a console that plays games for the NES, Super NES, and Genesis, and is one number-prefix more than the company's Retro Duo.
The system, manufactured by Retro-bit and announced at E3 2013 was tentatively set to release in 2013. However, Innex points to problems with controller mapping leading to a hold on the systems' release.
Innex President Titi Ngoy is quoted in the press release as saying “We stand behind our products. There is no room for less than the highest level of satisfaction."
The console plays cartridges compatible with the NES, Super NES, and Genesis systems and supports original and third-party controllers.
A spokesperson for Innex told IGN that the system is set to launch in mid-March of 2014, with a SRP of $69.99 USD.
Glad to see old school gaming kept alive.
