Super Smash Bros Brawl
I decided to review the game; Super Smash Bros Brawl, or shorter version SSBB. This game is for the Wii and was made in 2008. It is the third installment in the Super Smash Bros series after SSB and SS Melee.
Story
The story I’m going to focus on is the Subspace Emissary. You can find it by clicking on Singe Player, then Subspace Emissary.
The story starts with Mario and Kirby fighting each other in an area. The loser will be transformed to a statue, and they can only get back to normal if somebody touches them. Suddenly a big spaceship comes with a lot of Robs, but also Wario, Ganondorf and Bowser. They are controlled by Master Hand who wants them to plant some bombs. To activate these bombs they need to sacrifice 2 R.O.Bs. When activated they create big black holes that suck in everything on their way. Mario and Kirby have to team up and beat Master Hand, and on their way they get help from a lot of the different characters.
Different Game Modes
The game has a lot of different game modes, mainly Brawl, Classic and Subspace Emissary. In Brawl you can fight with a lot of different modes. You can have lives, time, coins and health, and you can also edit the level of the CPUs. You will be able to play as all your unlocked characters and you can play on all unlocked stages. It can be up to 4 players/cpus.
In Classic modes you play as whoever you want against characters from mainly one series in each fight. Such as Zelda, Link and Ganondorf. When you’ve beaten one group of characters, you fight another. You this all the time until you’ve beaten them all/die. Then you have to fight a boss.
In subspace emissary you follow the story I told about earlier, you can at any time go back and play stages over again, with bigger amount of different characters as you progress the story. You will be able to play with a friend or more. Subspace Emissary can give you a lot of different Trophies (read longer down on the page)
Playable Characters
SSBB has a big variety of characters from a lot of different series. The characters are mainly first-party ones, but there is also some from non-Nintendo games. The characters includes Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Donkey Kong, Link, Pokémon Trainer, Ganondorf, and some more from start, and you get more as you progress the story. It is 35 characters in total, and the characters can change colors (such as Mario in blue suit). Some of the characters also have alternate forms that can be changed to via doing a button combination or using your Final Smash.
Items
It is a lot of different items, and all of them are unlocked from start. The items go from Bob-Ombs, to Baseball bats, to Final Smashes, and some of them have more variety than others. Assist trophies get automatically activated when you pick them up. They summon different characters that will attack all the other characters or change various stuff of the gameplay. Final Smashes are flying balls in different colors that flies around when appearing. You have to hit them a lot as fast as possible. The last person to hit them after a set amount of time will start to glow. Then they can click on B to use their final smash (look here: http://www.joystiq.com/2008/02/01/super-smash-bros-brawl-final-smashes-revealed/) for a description of all of them.
Overall
I think this game is awesome, and has a lot of replay value. The level editor could’ve been a bit better (not mentioned here, but meh), but it’s still pretty fun. The Subspace Emissary can be replayed a lot of times and are even more enjoyable with a friend. The whole game is much more enjoyable when you play it with 1 friend or 3, but it can be played by yourself to. The graphics are really good and the camera feature is fun at times, but not when people use it all the time. The wifi is also fun, but Nintendo fails a bit when still having friend codes. Gladly the new SSB for 3DS will be with only your main friend code, but I don’t know about the Wii U. I will give this game 9 golden NitenDans out of 10, but no image because of bad time.

What if someone actually never played SSBB?
You just ruined the story for them. lol
I agree with this being the best in the series and there really is A LOT of replayability in this game.
They only downside to this game in my opinion was the online. You could only play 2minute matches. which leaves most of the players just standing around not even trying to fight. (in timed matches if you just stand still you normally would not die, Resulting in -1 point. They do this just to win.) That is a small complaint because this game is so epic the online does not even matter to me that much
