Well the point of this topic is simple. Just list who should be in the next Super Smash Game and who should go from Brawl.

I think that Jigglypuff has definetly got to go along with Toon Link. (They were both pointless)
Also I'd like to see Shadow, MewTwo (again), a Toad (That might be a bit much) and a Koopa or Bowser JR. I'd also like to see Krystal and Ganondorf should definatly get his own move set.
 
I agree. Get rid of Jigglypuff and Toon Link.

They should add Mega Man, Young Link and give him his own awesome new moves. Like I don't know... Masks... I'd say trade in Ness for Ninten, but Ninten didn't learn any PSI that offensive, but then again Ness nor Lucas actually learned PK Starstorm.

That's all for now, but I can think of more later.
 
Getting rid of Jigglypuff ain't a question. Toon, sure, only because he's a copy.

Now for who I would add in. Isaac isn't even a doubt for me. Maybe skull kid with Majora's Mask too.
 
GET FUDGEING RID OF JIGGLYPUFF!!!! add mewtwo, DARKRAI, SHADOW, silver?, keep toon link i like him, shadow mario? WALUIGI, meh, GENO!!!!!!!!!, meh, idk who else...

I say kick Sonic and add no one from the Sonic series. Sonic's the whole reason Earthbound stuff got removed and quiet frankly I just don't like him. If you're going to replace him with anyone let it be Shadow. With guns.

in my opinion, no character should be removed, more characters the better....but i can see jigglypuff being removed, but i highly doubt it reason being, because jigglypuff is kinda a big name pokemon. also you really want young link in the game....tell me whos been in more games, toon link or young link, and what year was young links most recent game vs toon link?? i honestly think toon link was a good replacement, since he is more relevant...and shadow in it with guns? just no, shadow without guns would be fine, or maybe just one move with a gun, like maybe like fox's gun but a ak instead or pistol sumthing....megaman be a cool character, but i think x would be cooler, even tho x isnt exactly relevent now adays so megaman would probably be chosen over x...but either way id like it. king k rool would be a good add...ummm, idk wat else?

Another Mario character definitely would be cool. Like Toad or some type of Koopa. Just that they don't have too many cool and unique moves.
 
Young Link has had 2 Toon Link has had 3, but to be fair as where I think all 3 of Toon Link's game sucks out of those three Wind Waker is more popular. As where PH and ST didn't do as good. However at the time of Brawl Toon Link only had Wind Waker so Young Link would've been the most relevant choice. I mean if you think about it they could have done so much more with Young Link seeing as he could have used masks and what not instead of being just a smaller clone of Link. I would have preferred CD-i Link over Toon Link as Young Link's replacement because all in all I find CD-i Link better even though CD-i is not licenced by Nintendo.

I liked Shadow the Hedgehog because of guns. It wasn't another generic Sonic game where you just run around being fast. Even though the game took forever to beat due to all the paths.

I could take Mega Man or X which ever would be fine by me. Even Zero would be a nice choice.

Then again they could completely screw it up and make Zero a clone with Marth, or Ike.

Toad should be a playable character, he could pull out vegetables from the ground like Peach, except he pulls them out quicker. His Final Smash (if they are still included) could be pulling out a POW Block from the ground, doing good damage to any players on the ground or on platforms. Doesn't affect those in mid-air. It also stuns those who where on the ground, however has a limited K.O. potential. But Toad can finish them off with another move.

Jigglypuff should go, but I doubt it since its been in the Smash Bros. series from the beginning.

I say dump Lucario and bring Mewtwo back. And either introduce more Sonic characters, or not include the series at all.

Toon Link OR Young Link should return, but they are going to need a different moveset to Link. I'm sick of the series giving you 'clones' to play as. Mario and Luigi are different, especially in Brawl, since they both have a different moveset, with different K.O. potential. I'm talking more of the Link and Toon Link/Young Link thing.
 
SCREW YOU ALL.

Jiggllypuff is one of the MOST advanced characters in the game, being one of the best edge gaurders IMO with the Wall of Pain. Tell me a solid reason why Jigglypuff should be removed, other than the "because, well, it should" that most people have said.

Isaac should be added, if Fire Emblem characters are present, the Golden Sun Characters should be too.
Geno, even though there is no way on Earth, in Heaven, or Hell that is going to happen.
The only other one I can think of is Zant, but, meh.
 
Nobody should be removed, the more characters the better the game experience will be.

according to the zelda wiki toon link has appeared in 6 games, Windwaker, Four Swords, Four Swords: Adventue, Minish Cap, Phantom Hourglass, and Spirit Tracks, so there goes proving your first point incorrect...and now the 2nd...the game list i have given you was in order of its release, oldest to newest, and Phantom Hourglass was in fact out before brawl, just saying.

but i would have to agree that it would be pretty cool if young link was in it using the masks and what not, but still doesnt mean toon link was more of a better choice.
 
Ok no. Just no. You are not and I mean NOT going to ruin FSA and MC by saying they're Toon Link because obviously they're not. FS Link and MC Link looks nothing like Link in WW, PH, and ST.

Toon Link was not a good choice though. He's a direct clones. As I've said Brawl has too many clone characters. At least Young Link wasn't a direct clone in Melee and there's so much proof in that.
 
Haha funny thing. Minish Cap Link looked EXACTLY like Toon Link.
And they need to change all the clone characters.
And DYL... What do you have against Toon Link/cel-shading(or whatever it's called)?
 
Because every game Toon Link has been in is crap and the cel shading style gives me shearing headaches making it unable to play.

A character from the Mega Man series would be great, since it's a pretty darn popular series, it's one of the most well known third party series on Nintendo consoles (much more so than Metal Gear at any rate), and I think the series creator or someone said they weren't asked if Mega Man could be in Brawl, but would have definitely said yes to the idea if they were asked.

Funny thing about that, I recall reading somewhere that Solid Snake was actually going to be added in melee. As a result of the game too far along in production, they promised Kojima that he'd make an appearance next time around. Kojima really wanted Snake in the smash bros series, it was his idea in the first place. I think Nintendo should keep on adding more third party characters. Especially with the 3ds coming along, the list of 3rd party characters possible continues to grow.
