when i went to the eshop to get a demo, i saw an update for one of my games. and swapnote was one of them.
does anyone know what it does?

No need for multiple topics. According to my 3DS, it includes the ability to use colors..

sorry about that but i looked all over swapnote after updating but san no colors. just the regular/3d pens.
my 3DS likes to keep reloading when i post topics so thats why there are more than one of the same topic. the wii handles the 3ds community better. but anyway where are the different colors? i updated swapnote.

You see those things on your 3DS? The plastic things?
They're called "buttons".
Try using them. Particularly the horizontal ones.
I sent everyone (in my friend list) a swapnote, saying "Yay orange" ... in blue ink.

It is in blue on the small display , but just normal black on the full one
EDIT: Forgot to dowload the update. Works fine now..

I can't remember the order but the colours available, as well as black are, IIRC
Red, Orange, Purple, Blue, Cyan.
