Telltale has announced Tales from the Borderlands, a new episodic series coming in 2014.

The project will include both existing characters in the Borderlands universe and new ones, some of whom will be "wanna-be Vault Hunters" according to Gearbox head Randy Pitchford.

Tales from the Borderlands is "very much in the Borderlands world" but contains Telltale's typical gameplay, though it's promised to be "big and bombastic."

Telltale will develop the game, but Gearbox is consulting and helped to come up with the project.

I need to start playing this series.
 
Borderlands is a good series. 

If you have PS Plus then Borderlands 2 is up for download this month. (I don't think it comes with any DLC, but still the core game is good enough that it's worth a download.)
But even if you don't have it the game is still worth picking up because it's pretty fun and has some humorous moments.

(Plus the Game of the Year version is out and that includes 4 of the DLC packs, the two bonus characters and a bunch of other stuff. So that'd be worth picking up. )
 
Nice.  I have both Borderlands on the PC.  I don't care much for FPS games in the PS3 tho.  So is this a new game, or a show?
